What is Wildbacher?

Answer:  Wildbacher, also known as Blauer Wildbacher is a dark skinned grape that is from Styria, a growing region in Austria.  It is primarily used to make Schilcher wine, a pink wine which is a specialty of the region.

This weeks (L) University is all about Champagne!

Yves Cuilleron’s 2007 Rose of Syrah, at Drink! for $20.  It’s the last few weeks of rose drinking weather, and this wine is off the hook!!  Light on the palate, good acid, SOOOO refreshing, and NO I don’t sell this wine, someone else does.  I just advocate the consumption of it!!
